The visions we allow ourselves to have of the future are impacted by what we know and believe. The beautiful thing is, that we can change both.

Expanding what we know feels pretty straightforward. We live in a society that greatly favors learning and the expansion of knowledge. Any direction of study can help us grow our sense of what is possible and expand the way we dream about the future.

However, the way we learn, what we learn, and whom we learn from is greatly impacted by what we believe. Therefore changing what we believe impacts everything from the very ground up.

Asking questions is a great way to get an understanding of how our beliefs can limit us and enable us. It can also give us an understanding of which beliefs we want to change in order to expand what we think is possible.

One thing is true: Much more is possible than we know.

Here are a few questions to ask yourself:

• What do I believe about my ability to learn new things?
• Can I learn everything or only certain things?
• Are there any types of knowledge that I consider to be superior to others?
• What do I believe I can still do in this lifetime?
• What do I believe I can become?
• What do I believe will become of the world?

Sometimes we face mountains in our dreams that seem impossible to traverse, so we don't even dare entertain them. A world of peace might be one such mountain. Another might be a great project you wish you could do in your lifetime.

It can seem impossible to change what we believe at our core, yet it absolutely is possible and we don't need to wait for it to happen. Ritual, ceremonial technologies, and magic offer a host of effective techniques that can alter our sense of what is real and thereby what we believe.
